Calli's DNA
“Calli” is a word in Nahuatl, the ancestral language of the indigenous peoples of Mexico. It means “home.” Two words, two cultures, one idea: Home, the place where it all begins, where you feel safe, loved, free to be yourself.
The logo, as you've probably noticed, is terracotta. This is no coincidence. This warm color, derived from terracotta, symbolizes our roots. It recalls the earth, the one we touch, the one we inhabit, the one from which dreams are born.
Because deep down, every dream begins in a piece of land… in a little corner we call ‘home’.”

The team behind Calli
Ruth Chavez, founder of "Calli Design", a company passionate about creating unique interiors that combine modern elegance with the warm soul of Mexico, interior designer passionate about the art of transforming spaces into unique and inspiring places.
My journey began in Mexico, where I earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree. This training allowed me to develop a solid understanding of volumes, structures, and spatial harmony. I then expanded my creative vision in Montreal, completing an AEC in Interior Design—an experience that brought me even closer to humanity and the aesthetics of everyday life.
Today, I combine these two worlds to create spaces that are functional, elegant, and full of personality. Whether for a residence, a business, or an office, each project is an opportunity for me to tell a story through materials, light, colors, and shapes.
